The Sennheiser MD 46 is a handheld cardioid microphone designed for use in live reporting and broadcasting environments. The cardioid pick-up pattern isolates your subject from unwanted ambient sound and is much more resistant to feedback than omnidirectional microphones.

Featuring a traditional long handle, rugged metal housing and sound inlet basket, the MD 46 ensures low wind and handling noise. A dynamic microphone, it does not require external power or batteries for operation.
