Ideal for capturing interviews, podcasts, and vlogs in broadcast quality, the Rode SC6-L Mobile Interview Kit consists of all the essentials required to record two subjects to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The Kit includes a Rode SC6-L ultracompact 2x2 Lightning audio interface and two Rode smartLav+ omnidirectional lapel microphones that come complete with windscreens, clips and a storage bag. Other than the kit, your mobile device and a set of headphones are all you need to add to the setup for recording. Set up is easy. Connect the SC6-L interface into your Lightning-equipped Apple device and then plug both the lavalier microphones into the interface. Open the Rode Reporter app or other preferred audio/video app to start recording. When using the SC6-L with the Rode Reporter app, you have the option to adjust the mic preamp gain, choose between summed stereo and dual-mono recording, and enable/disable direct monitoring from your Apple moble device. In addition, the SC6-L features a 3.5mm headphone port to permit connecting your headphones for easy monitoring of your input signal or app playback. As the SC6-L is bus powered through the Lightning connection to iPhone, iPad, or iPod, no batteries are required.
