The RODECaster Pro from RODE is a compact, easy-to-use, and all-in-one podcast production unit, ideal for podcast beginners and professionals alike.  Saving you set-up time and costs, this revolutionary unit integrates a mixer, sound effects player, phone tap for taking phone calls, recorder, and more, in a single box.

The internal recorder and a host of podcast-friendly features combine to enable production and mixing of podcasts on the fly. With four high quality microphone XLR inputs, four discrete headphone outputs, eight faders to control audio levels, as well as automatic level setting and one touch recording features, recording a four-person podcast with broadcast quality will be a breeze. For faciliating echo-free interviews via phone or app calls, the unit offers mix-minus functions over the TRRS, Bluetooth, and USB connections. Other well thought out features include main host channel controls, programmable sound pads for lauching jingles and FX, and APHEX processing that gives your voice the rich and warm tone of a professional broadcaster.

Workflow-wise, the RODECaster Pro records the audio internally to a microSD card or to your computer via USB, and permits recording a mixed-down stereo file for a quick upload to your hosting service. Meanwhile, a recording of each of the sources to its own track is also made for any further post-production. If the podcast is hosted at an event with live audience, a set of speaker outputs with a dedicated volume permits connection of the unit to a PA system for amplification while USB connectivity enables streaming of the podcast to your audience around the world.This flexible workflow is complemented by ergonomically located controls and a large full-colour touchscreen.
