XCD 21mm f/4 Lens
Ultra-wide Prime for Medium Format Mirrorless Cameras
Designed for use with the X-System medium format mirrorless cameras, the Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 is an ultra-wide prime lens that is well-suited for interior, landscape, and architectural photography. The lens provides a full-frame equivalent focal length of 17mm that offers a generously wide perspective while affording, at the same time, a close minimum focusing distance of 32cm for shooting creative close-ups. The optical design features 13 elements in 9 groups, including a pair of aspherical elements, to reduce spherical aberrations and distortions for delivery of sharp and clear imagery. As is with the other XCD lenses, the physical design of the 21mm f/4 incorporates a Central Lens Shutter which generates very minimal vibration for sharper handheld shooting. Moreover, the shutter provides an exposure time range of 60mins to 1/2000 sec, with flash sync available at all speeds, thus affording you with the freedom to creatively mix the use of daylight and flash. For added flexibility, its internal autofocus can be switched to manual mode for precise focusing control.
