The Fujifilm GF 50mm f/3.5 R LM WR lens, which offers a full-frame equivalent focal length of 40mm, is designed to provide a normal field of view for the medium format G-mount GFX camera system. Paired with a bright f/3.5 maximum aperture, this lens is well suited for a variety of shooting situations, including dimmer conditions. At a length of only 48mm, the extremely slim design of the this lens renders it highly portable and travel-friendly.

The optical design of the lens features 9 elements in 6 groups, which include one aspherical element to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to achieve imagery of high clarity and sharpness. A fast and quiet linear AF motor that is beneficial to both stills and video applications is utlised for high focusing perfomance. In addition, a manual aperture ring allows you to intuitively adjust exposure settings as well as male camera-based aperture selections via an incorporated C (Command) position. The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing effect in the defocused areas when applying selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques. You can operate the fully weather-sealed lens at ease when working in less than ideal weather condition.

Both front and rear lens caps, a lens hood, a lens hood cap, and a wrapping cloth are supplied with this lens.
