Wide-angle Medium Format Lens

The Leica Elmarit-S 30mm f/2.8 ASPH Lens is a wide-angle prime lens designed for use with Leica S-series medium format digital cameras. It provides a wide-angle 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24mm, ideally suited to interior, architecture, and landscape shooting. This is combined with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 that offers control over focus position for shallow depth of field imagery and also benefits working in dim lighting conditions with available light.

The optical design features two aspherical elements integrated into the construction to minimise monochromatic aberrations and improve the overall image sharpness and clarity. It uses a S-bayonet mount for rapid and exact connection between the camera and lens.
