Ultra Wide Angle Medium Format Prime Lens

Designed specifically for digital use on H-series Hasselblad camera, the Hasselblad HCD 28mm f/4 is an ultra wide angle prime lens is a rear-focusing lens. As such, this lens is not compatible with Hasselblad 1.7x Converter, or the HM 16-32 and HMi 100 film magazines, and does not cover the film format (41.5 x 56mm). Like all HCD lenses, this lens features electronic shutter mechanisms, Multi Coating to eliminate stray light, an integral focus drive motor, and an instant access to manual focus without the need to switch between the two focus modes. This lens features a minimum focus distance of 35.05cm for capturing close-up subjects.

Mostly of metal construction, this lens is built for durability and reliability. Additionally, the special optical design of the lens provides a special soft, smooth quality to the blurred or out-of focus areas of the image. It supports 95mm threaded filters.
