In this kit, the Fujifilm GFX 100S is paired with the portrait-length GF 110mm f/2 R LM WR lens.

The Fujifilm GFX 100S houses an ultra high-resolution 102MP sensor in an impressively compact and portable mirrorless camera body-like design. This 102MP 44 x 33 mm BSI CMOS sensor is paired with the X-Processor 4 to enable impressive stills with 16-bit raw imagery with a broad dynamic range, low noise levels, and sensitivity to a ISO 12800. Furthermore, the BSI sensor design contributes to high clarity and accurate colour rendering when working in a variety of lighting conditions. Video-wise, DCI and UHD recording is possible at 4:2:0 10-bit internally, 4:2:2 10-bit via HDMI, and raw 12-bit externally. Benefitting post production, a F-log gamma setting maximises the potential dynamic range and allows more advanced colour grading. HLG recording is also supported for HDR applications. F-Log, HLG, and Film Simulations can all be used simultaneously with raw external output. The unique sensor design incorporates a sophisticated hybrid AF system which utilises 425 selectable phase-detection points that cover almost the entire frame to afford precise face and eye-detection modes.

Complementing the imagery capabilities is the updated body shape of the GFX 100S. Noticeably more compact and lightweight than previous GFX 100 models, this new model is well suited for handheld shooting whether on location or in studio environments. Sharp handheld shooting is promoted by a capable in-body image stabilisation that compensates up to six stops pf camera shake (when used with OIS-enabled lenses). In addition, this stabilisation system enables the creation of massive 400MP files beginning with the capture of 16 raw images in the Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode. Via the the Fujifilm's Pixel Shift Combiner software, these raw images are then combined to produce a single DNG image file with astounding detail. A fixed 3.69m-dot EVF for bright-eye level viewing and a rear 3.2" touchscreen LCD with a three-way tilting contribute to the the GFX 100S's sleek form factor. Its magnesium alloy body construction, on the other hand, contributes to its light weight as well as promotes durability. Weather-sealing render this camera moisture-resistant, dust-resistant, and freezeproof, enabling operation in a wide range of weather conditions.

The GFX 100S comes supplied with a lithium-ion battery, power adapter, plug adapter, USB cable, shoulder strap, body cap, hot-shoe cover, and cable protector.

The accompanying GF 110mm f/2 R LM WR from Fujifilm, a short telephoto 87mm-equivalent prime lens for the G-mount GFX camera system, is an ideal portrait lens. It features a bright f/2 maximum aperture, making it well-suited to working in low-light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques. This is benefitted by a rounded nine-blade diaphragm to produce attractive out of focus areas.

The sophisticated optical design uses four extra-low dispersion elements to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for a high degree of clarity and contrast. A linear autofocus motor ensures autofocus is fast and quiet, and an internal focusing mechanism limits the overall lens length during use as well as maintains consistent image quality throughout the focusing range. The lens is also dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant and features a manual aperture ring for intuitive exposure adjustment as well as a C (Command) position to permit camera-based aperture setting.
