The Mamiya RZ67 Pro II is a 6x7 format professional medium format film camera, kitted here with a waist level finder, 120 film back and 110mm f/2.8 lens. It features pinion bellows focusing that can be operated with the left or right hand, and allows for close-up photography without any attachements. The closest focusing distance of the 110mm lens is 31.3cm. The camera also features a revolving film back that allows for easy changeover between horizontal and vertical orientation. It is a versatile camera, ideally suited to many applications including commercial, portrait, fashion, industrial, nature and scientific photography.
An ISO film speed dial is located on the film holders and interfaces electronically through gold plated contacts with the camera body, optional AE Prism Finder, and RZ lenses. Set the dial when you load the film and you won't need to worry about correct meter indexing. It is also possible to lock the mirror in the up position to eliminate vibrations when shooting close-up and telephoto work, or when using slow shutter speeds, and multiple exposures are possible with the flip of a switch.
The RZ67 Pro II is compatible with a range of quality Mamiya lenses. The camera features a large diameter 67mm lens mount which makes it possible to design a variety of high performance lenses, such as APO, shift and zoom. Here the camera is kitted with a 120 back, however there are also a range of optional film backs available for different formats and film holders can be quickly interchanged, even mid-roll. Two film counter windows make it easy to read as film holders are rotated on the camera's revolving back.
