GFX 50S Body + GF 23mm f/4 kit

Medium Format Mirrorless Camera Kit

Combining an extraordinary sensor, processor and design, the GFX 50S is a uniquely portable and versatile medium format mirrorless camera from Fujifilm. It features a 43.8 x 32.9mm 51.4MP CMOS sensor alongside an X-Processor Pro image processor to capture high resolution files with a wide dynamic range, and an extended sensitivity range of ISO 50-102400. The large sensor grants imagery a three-dimensional look with smooth tonal and colour transitions. The sensor and processor combination also make it possible to work in a variety of aspect ratios, shoot at up to 3 fps, and record Full HD 1080p/30 video. This is complimented by a small, lightweight body made of magnesium alloy and equipped with an ultra-high definition detachable EVF adopting a 3.69M-dot organic EL panel.

Its versatile design is reminiscent of film cameras and intuitive to use. The removable 3.69m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder can be used for high-resolution eye-level viewing and can be paired with an optional tilt adapter, allowing you to use the finder from various working angles. The removable EVF connects with the camera body via the hot shoe, and the EVF features its own hot shoe to maintain compatibility with optional external flashes. Alternatively, the rear 3.2" 2.36m-dot touchscreen LCD can be used for image playback, menu navigation, and live view shooting. It features a unique three-way tilting design that moves both 45° downward, 90° upward, and tilts 60° to the side, to support working from high and low angles, even when shooting in the vertical orientation.

The focal plane shutter has also been newly developed to acheive a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. (1/16000 sec. when using electronic shutter), and a flash synchronization speed of 1/125 sec. or less. High performance and durability are paramount, with the shutter built to support up to 150,000 shots, the camera also achieves low vibration and a quiet shutter noise.

Interval shooting is possible for up to 999 consecutive frames with a 1 second to 24 hour delay between exposures, and a Multiple Exposure mode lets you shoot two consecutive overlaid frames where the first frame will be shown on the rear LCD to aid in alignment for the second exposure. Save to the Dual UHS-II SD memory card slots in a sequential manner, backup/duplicate manner, or in a sorted manner to segregate JPEG and raw files. With the included NP-T125 rechargeable lithium-ion battery you can expect to capture approximately 400 shots per charge when Auto Power Save is on.

It uses a 117-Point contrast-detection autofocus system that can be divided into 425 points, for remarkable focusing speed and accuracy that is especially beneficial when working with the inherent shallow depth of field of medium format. Focus point selection is possible using the integrated Focus Lever for intuitive switching between points and, alternatively, the rear touchscreen can also be used for selecting precise focus areas. Face and Eye Detection AF are also available to benefit portraiture, and an electronic depth of field scale can be used for more critical selective focus. Additionally, focus peaking is available in manual focus mode as well as frame magnification for more critical focusing.

Dedicated dials allow exposure settings to be quickly adjusted, and a top LCD screen makes it easy to check your settings and exposure data. It is also sealed in 58 places, making it dust- and weather-resistant, as well as freezeproof down to -10°C, for peace of mind when working in changeable conditions. Bulti-in Wi-Fi rounds out this impressive set of features, allowing for direct wireless file sharing and remote camera control from a linked mobile device.

The GFX 50S can be used with dedicated G Mount FUJINON GF Lenses. Inheriting the design philosophy of reputable XF Lenses, they are designed to achieve extremely high resolving power and rich tone reproduction. In addition to the A (Auto) Position setting that featured on the aperture ring in the X Series, a new C (Command Dial) Position has been added, allowing for the aperture value to be changed even from the camera body.

Combined with the GFX 50s comes - An 18mm-equivalent prime lens for the G-mount GFX camera system, the GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens from Fujifilm offers a super wide field of view ideally suited to architecture and interior photography. The 15 elements in 12 groups optical design uses a pair of aspherical elements, two extra-low dispersion elements, and one Super ED element to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for a high degree of clarity and contrast. A Nano GI coating has also been applied to combat lens flare and ghosting. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm produces attractive out of focus areas.

This is benefitted by a linear autofocus motor for fast and quiet autofocus, and an internal focusing mechanism maintains the overall lens length during use as well as maintains consistent image quality throughout the focusing range. The lens is also dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant and features a manual aperture ring for intuitive exposure adjustment as well as a C (Command) position to permit camera-based aperture setting.

The Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens comes with a front lens cap, rear lens cap, lens hood and lens pouch and the GFX 50S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera comes with:
