Core Lighting Kit

The ELC Pro HD 1000 To Go Kit from Elinchrom is a powerful and versatile core kit that includes two 1000W/s flash heads with built-in EL Skyport SPEED radio receivers, an EL Skyport Transmitter Plus, two 16cm 90° deflectors, as well as a ProTec Poly Bag for the lights and modifiers. This version of the kit also includes the Sekonic L-478DR-EL light meter which incorporates the EL-Skyport functionality. It offers wireless triggering and full power control of all EL-Skyport enabled Elinchrom flash units.

Power is continuously variable from 7 to 1000W/s while the 300W proportional modelling lamp allows you to preview your settings before exposure. The ELC Pro HD 1000 features recycle times as fast as 1.4 sec. with flash durations as short as an action-freezing 1/5,260 sec with up to 20 frames per second possible at minimum power. An intelligent low noise, temperature activated fan keeps the head cool and pre-flash detector lets you integrate your on-camera flash into your studio system.

Although the kit includes a sync cord, it also provides the EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus to trigger the flash heads' built-in receivers at distances up to 656'. This transmitter also allows you to trigger and set flash power for up to four groups, as well as an all groups setting, and 16 different channels, which are split between eight normal channels and eight hi-speed channels. A locking metal accessory shoe connector allows you to secure the transmitter directly to a camera, and a top hot shoe and a 2.5mm sync port are available for directly connecting an additional strobe. A swivelling design helps to improve reception for more direct transmission.

Compatible with Elinchrom's EL-Skyport radio remote system, the included Sekonic L-478DR-EL ambient and flash light meter now allows you to control the power of Elinchrom flashes wirelessly. Using the meter, you can measure and adjust the flash power, switch the modelling lamp on/off and on some models also adjust the modelling lamp brightness. The flash control screen is intuitive and easy to navigate and use. Directly from the display, select and meter both single groups and all groups of lights, clearly showing the flash readings taken for each and with these, enabling the contrast range to be adjusted and the correct exposure set.
