77mm Screw-In Metal Wide Angle Lens Hood

for Wide-angle (zoom) Lenses

This 77mm Screw-in Wide Angle Lens Hood from B+W is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering your lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Since the end of the lens is extended it will also provide some extra protection from accidental impact.

Made of black-anodized aluminum with light-absorbing flat black ribs on the inside, this hood protects against contrast-reducing, uncontrolled, stray light. It is designed for wide-angle (zoom) lenses with angles of view up to 70° wide (approx. 28mm in 35mm format).
