The black and orange Manfrotto Befree Advanced Travel Tripod is designed especially to match the Sony Alpha a7 and a9 cameras. More importantly, it has a dedicated 200PL-Pro quick release plate that is compatible with both RC2 and Arca-type systems to fit these Sony cameras. At a weight of only 1.6kg, the aluminium tripod boosts a load capacity of about 8kg. The Befree Advanced is easily transportable in the included carrying case at its folded length of 40cm. With the center column extended, the tripod can be used at a maximum height of 1.5m when all the four sections of each leg are fully extended and flip-locked. For added versatility, a side button enables setting up the tripod at three different leg angles while rubberised feet and an integrated hook at the bottom for adding a weight increases stability over more challenging surfaces and conditions. The Befree Advanced has a sturdy center ballhead, which has dedicated knob for panoramic panning and a separate one for precise friction control during use. Finally, photographers have the option of carrying less gear as this travel tripod can connect with compatible accessories such as flashes via an Easy Link attachment.
