The C1692TB0 Travel Angel II Tripod from Benro is a compact and lightweight tripod kit that includes an Arca-type B0 ball head with quick release plate. Capable of supporting up to 8 kg of gear, the tripod weighs just 1.49 kg, features a maximum height of 135 cm (156.5 cm with the centre column extended) and folds down to 40 cm for easy transport and storage. One of the tripod's legs can also be removed and attached to the included centre column with ball head to convert into a fully functional monopod that extends to 163 cm high.
Its 5-section legs each feature an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock at 34°, 55°, or 80° angles, twist locks for easy set up, and rubber feet for enhanced stability. For added versatility, the tripod's centre column is reversible, making low-angle photography possible by allowing the camera to be positioned between the tripod's legs rather than above them.
The Arca-type compatible ball head is part of Benro’s new generation B series professional ball heads and offers separate drag adjustment and lock knobs, and 360° panning with a graduated panning scale for precise image alignment. Magnesium alloy components ensure greater performance and lighter weight. It also features an integrated Arca-type clamp that accepts the included 1/4"-20 mount quick release plate. The top of the quick release plate features a rubberised, non-slip platform, and dual retaining screws along its underside. These screws help prevent the plate from accidentally sliding off when the clamp is opened.
Other features include a 180° inverse folding design that allows the tripod legs to be folded up around the centre column, making it compact to transport. There is also a closed foam leg grip for a comfortable and firm grip as well as insulation between the cold tripod leg and your hand, and a spring hook at the base of the centre column. Hanging something heavy from this hook, such as a sandbag, will increase the tripod's stability.
