360° Action Camera

The GoPro MAX 360° Action Camera encapsulates the moments in action on panoramic photos and videos without you having to pan the camera. The MAX utilises opposite side lenses to capture a 360° view in up to 5750 x 2880 still photos and 4992 x 2496 resolution videos, afterwhich they are automatically stitched in the camera to provide flexibility for editing and ease for image sharing. When required, the traditional wide-angle GoPro HERO-style footage can be recorded by using only one of the lenses. Various other modes for creative video and photos further the flexibility offered by the MAX. To name a couple, PowerPano mode takes 270° still photos without distortion; TimeWarp mode allows recording in standard HERO mode with a variable speed function. In addition, the MAX can record very small files whilte maintaining image quality in HEVC video format, thus freeing up precious real estate on your SD card.

A generous offering of four lens sizes -- Narrow, Linear, Wide, and Max SuperView -- provides options for finding just the right angle for your footage. The HyperSmooth then provides digital stabilisation and horizon leveling within the camera for smooth and super steady action footage in both HERO and 360 modes. In addition, six microphones are utilised to record spherical audio to complement the spherical video, creating an immersive 360° playback experience.

The MAX's other features makes it an all round action camera. It supports live streaming to social media in 1080p, enabling instant sharing of any action. USB and HDMI output ports support video transfer from your camera to your computer. Waterproof to about a depth of 4.88m, the camera will be protected during shallow water shots and from splashes and rain. While the touchscreen is easily and quickly navigated and managed, the offering of 14 voice commands available in more than 10 languages and accents enables opertation even when your hands are full. Using the current settings for still photos, the MAX will obey and do so when you say "GoPro, take a photo".

The MAX comes supplied with a 1600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, two protective lenses, two lens caps, a curved adhesive mount, a mounting buckle, and a USB Type-C cable for charging. Please note that a minimum class 10 or UHS-1 microSD card up to 128 GB in size is required for recording on the MAX.
