Pro Video Head with Flat Base (3/8" - 16 Connection)
The Benro S8 Pro Video Head with Flat Base (3/8"-16 Connection) will attach directly to tripods, monopods, sliders, and other camera support equipment with a 3/8"-16 threaded stud. It can also be adapted to 75mm bowl type legs and hi-hats using an adapter, such as the Benro BL75, sold separately.
It is a two-way, pan/tilt head designed for video applications, and will support cameras weighing up to 8kg. It features stepless, continuous adjustment of both pan and tilt drag, and allows you to dial in the amount of tension you require. Pan a full 360° as well as tilt forward (lens down) 90° and backward (lens up) 70°. To help compensate for different cameras of varying weights, it also features a four-step (0 - 3), adjustable counterbalance system.
The pan bar handle can be mounted for left or right hand operation, and a second pan bar handle, such as the BS04, can be purchased if you will be using zoom and focus remotes or desire two-handed operation. Lastly it features a sliding quick release plate which can be positioned up to 1.5" forward and 1.7" back of center to aid balance, an illuminated bubble level, and ratcheting lock levers for pan, tilt, and the quick release plate.
