The Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS is a versatile and lightweight wide to telephoto zoom lens specifically suited to full-frame E-mount cameras, however it is also compatible with APS-C size sensors where it will offer a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 42-105mm.

Optically three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element work to minimise chromatic aberrations and distortions, ensuring sharp and clear images. A seven-blade circular diaphragm provides smooth out-of-focus 'bokeh' areas, and OSS Optical Steadyshot image stabilisation is also built-in to benefit working in low-light conditions and with longer focal lengths.
