Covering wide-angle to telephoto focal lengths, the NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 by Nikon is a versatile 8.3x zoom designed for use in a wide variety of shooting scenarios. Its advanced optical design features two aspherical extra-low dispersion elements, in addition to three aspherical elements and one aspherical ED element, to help reduce a range of aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range in order to achieve high image sharpness and clarity. Aside for a Super Integrated Coating on multiple elements to promote colour accuracy, ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coatings have also been applied to control flare and ghosting for greater contrast and clarity in bright and backlit conditions. For sharper handheld performance, this impressive zoom features Vibration Reduction image stablisation, which reduces the appearance of camera shake by up to five stops. 

Complementing the optics, a stepping motor provides quick, quiet, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override to suit both stills and video applications. An internal focusing design enables only faster focusing speeds as well as maintain the overall length while in use. Benefitting working with fast continuous shooting rates, this Nikkor Z zoom features a specialised electromagnetic aperture mechanism to provide greater exposure control stability. A programmable control ring, which by default is set to adjust manual focus, can be set for intuitive adjustment over aperture or exposure compensation. The zoom features a rounded seven-blade diaphragm that promotes a pleasing out of focus quality when using the shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques. The lens barrel is both dust- and moisture-resistant to suit working in inclement conditions.
