This ultra wide-angle Sigma 24mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary I Series lens is designed for the Sony FE-mount full frame mirrorless cameras. As part of the Contemporary line, this lens is designed with convenience and performance in mind. Its standard focal length pairs with a bright design in a portable form, rendering it suitable for a wide array of photographic applications. Its 1:2 maximum magnification as well as 10.8cm minimum focusing distance sets it apart from other wide-angles and enables working intimately up-close with subjects. Optically, three aspherical elements and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) element are employed to reduce a variety of aberrations and distortion so that the imagery sharp and more accurately rendered. Additionally, application of a Super Multi-Layer Coating helps to minimise ghosting and flare to improve colour fidelity and contrast.

The lens features a stepping motor to deliver fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and video applications. As an I Series lens, it is characterised by a sleek and stylish physical design, and features a manual aperture ring and all-metal barrel constriction for enhanced tactility. The weather-sealing enables the lens to be operated in inclement weather while a seven-blade diaphragm provides for a pleasing bokeh.

This lens comes supplied with a lens cap, a rear cap, a magnetic metal lens cap and a lens hood.
