Sigma's 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Lens is a wide and fast prime lens for your Leica Mount. It is a part of Sigma's Art line, a series known for its robust design and advanced optics. It features three "F" Low Dispersion (FLD) elements, four Special Low Dispersion elements, and a 15-element-in-11-group optical design and a pair of aspherical elements, with one positioned in the rear of the lens, to minimize a variety of distortions and chromatic aberrations. Additionally they work to provide consistent peripheral brightness and sharpness, even at the maximum aperture of f/1.4. Lastly a Super Multi Coating of the lens elements reduces flare and ghosting for sharper contrast and colour. It also features a Hyper Sonic Motor for fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus. Enable manual focus override at any time by rotating the focus ring. Nine rounded diaphragm blades creature smooth out-of-focus areas.
