Milvus 135mm f/2 ZF.2 for Nikon
Medium Telephoto Lens
The Milvus 135mm f/2 ZF.2 from Zeiss is a prime medium telephoto lens for FX-format Nikon F-mount DSLRs, and can also be used with DX models where it will provide a 202.5mm equivalent focal length. Featuring a bright f/2 maximum aperture, it is well-suited to working in low-light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques.
The Sonnar design uses four anomalous partial dispersion glass elements to virtually eliminate chromatic aberrations and distortions. A floating elements system ensures consistent performance throughout the focusing and aperture ranges, and an enhanced Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to significantly reduce ghosting and lens flare for improved contrast and true colour.
Featuring a manual focus design, a rubberised focus ring provides fine-tuned control over focus placement. This is benefited by laser-engraved focusing and depth of field scales, along with an IR position dot and hard stops at both infinity and minimum focusing positions. Also included is a manual aperture ring that can be manually de-clicked for silent, stepless operation to benefit video applications. This is complimented by a durable frosted, anodised metal lens barrel with a weather-sealed construction to protect against dust and moisture.
