The Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2 ZE for Canon EOS is a manual focus wide-angle prime lens. A fast maximum aperture of f/2 allows for selective focus and low-light performance. The Distagon optical design with floating elements and anomalous partial dispersion glass reduces aberrations and distortion for edge to edge sharpness, while an anti-reflective element coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting for accurate colour. It features an all-metal lens barrel, a manual focusing ring with dampened 113° rotation for fine-tuned control and engraved depth of field and distance scales. It is dedicted to Canon EF-mount cameras, and features an electronic interface to support camera-based adjustment over exposure settings.
