The Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/1.4 ZE for Canon is an optically superb and very fast wide-angle lens designed for full frame Canon EF mount DSLRs, and can also be used with APS-C models. The fast f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in varying lighting conditions and also offers increased control over depth of field. A near-circular aperture produces pleasing bokeh.

Like all Zeiss lenses it offers superb colour and edge to edge sharpness, and a Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has also been applied to significantly reduce ghosting and lens flare.

It is a manual focus lens, complemented by a large rotation angle, and robust all-metal construction.
