14mm f/2.4 Premium XP for Nikon F
Ultra Wide-angle Prime Lens
A super wide-angle prime lens, the XP 14mm f/2.4 from Saymang is a manual focus lens designed for use with Nikon F-mount DSLRs. It can also be used with DX models where it will provide a 21mm equivalent focal length. Its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 28 cm away.
The optical design uses 18 elements in 14 groups, including two aspherical lenses, one hybrid aspherical lens, two extra-low dispersion lenses and three high refractive index elements. These special optics come together to create impressive image quality from edge to edge, while an additional Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) works to minimise flare and ghosting.
All this is housed in a rugged aluminium alloy metal lens body, for maximum durability. A built-in petal shaped lens hood is also included, to suppress lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast when working in bright, direct lighting conditions.
