Fast prime lens suited to everyday shooting

A manual focus prime lens designed for full-frame and APS-C Canon EF mount DSLR cameras.  On APS-C sized sensors, the 35mm-equivalent focal length is 56mm.  5 elements in 4 groups make for sharp image quality, while a maximum aperture of f/2 allows you to work in low-light situtations with greater control over depth of field.  The lens is also designed with a retractable lens hood, which works to minimize flare and ghosting for beautiful colours and contrast.  Depth of field and distance scales aid in using pre-focusing and zone focusing techniques.
