UV (Ultra Violet) Filter 

This 52mm Digital Pro MC Slim UV Filter from Rodenstock is a clear filter primarily designed to eliminate ultraviolet light, avoiding a degradation of image contrast. This is particularly noticeable when photographing outdoor scenes, where a UV filter will work to combat the faded blue or white effect that ultravoilet light can cause. All filters will also offer a degree of protection for the front element of your lens against moisture, dust and scratching.

It features a hardened, black anodised aluminum slim filter mount with front filter threads. This allows for other filters or lens hoods to be attached while still maintaining the vignette-reduction capabilities of a slim filter. It is constructed from 16-layer, eight layers on each side, multicoated hardened optical glass.
