Useful as a general protective filter, the 43mm F-Pro UV-Haze MRC 010 Filter from B+W can be attached on your lens at all times. On top of the general function of filters to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection from damage, the UV filter absorbs the UV component of light from the sky which can cause blur, and helps reduce the bluish cast of daylight. No adjustments to exposure are necessary when using this filter. The SCHOTT glass construction is characterised by high optical clarity and each side of the lens surface receives eight layers of anti-refleciton coating to suppress internal ghosting and reflections while allowing 99.8% light transmission. This Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) also affords greater protection to the filter while helping it to stay clean longer than uncoated filters. The durable and high quality F-Pro brass filter ring prevents jamming and is thinner than a traditional ring, allowing the filter to be used on many wide-angle lenses without vignetting.
