The NiSi Filters 100mm Starter Kit Second Generation II is the ultimate starter kit for landscape or seascape photographers with everything you need to get started. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to create long exposure images and use ND filters & GND filters with multiple lenses. The 100mm Starter Kit Second Generation II includes three filters, filter holder and accessories and represents a great saving compared to buying all the included items separately.
Using a square and rectangular filter system instead of standard round screw-on filters will allow you to use the same filters with many different sized lenses. Simply change your filter holder's adapter ring to suit your lens. It will also allow you to shift your filter up and down in the filter holder to fit the scene you are photographing, making it easier to match your filter to your horizon line or balance the light intensity in both parts of a scene.

The NiSi V5 PRO 100mm Filter Holder with Enhanced Landscape CPL is the latest evolution of the NiSi V5 Holder. Made from aviation-grade aluminium with single element processing by CNC machine, it supports up to three 100mm filters with a CPL filter in any combination. A clip design with left to right pressed clips makes it easy to insert and remove filters, and the CPL is also simple to install with a raised design.
It comes complete with an ultra slim 86mm Enhanced Landscape CPL and 4 adapter rings for the most popular wide angle lenses (67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm). The matte black frosted finish on the surface minimises reflection and a unique rotation wheel design allows the CPL filter to be rotated via a cog on the back of the filter, meaning you no longer have to set up the CPL filter before inserting additional filters.
The included Enhanced Landscape NC CPL Filter from NiSi is an 86mm PRO CPL with a thin frame that works exclusively with the NiSi 100mm V5 Holder. Made from high quality optical glass with nano coating, it preserves every bit of detail and will not affect the colour of your image. This Enhanced Landscape version of the CPL improves saturation in landscape images.
CPL filters are primarily designed to eliminate polarised light, producing increased colour saturation. This is particularly noticeable when photographing outdoor scenes, where a CPL filter will work to combat atmospheric fog to deepen the blue of the sky, highlight white clouds, and eliminate reflected light bringing detail back in to reflective surfaces such as water or glass.
The 100x100mm ND64 (1.8) Nano IR Neutral Density Filter, 100x100mm ND1000 (3.0) Nano IR Neutral Density Filter, and 100x150mm GND8 (0.9) Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter from NiSi are specially designed for landscape photographers. Normally, when using a neutral density filter the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which can cause an unwanted red colour cast in images when shooting at small apertures. To prevent this, NiSi has added the infrared protection coating layer to this filter which helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural colour.
The 100x100mm ND64 (1.8) and ND1000 (3.0) Nano IR Neutral Density Filters feature a 1.8 and 3.0 density, to provide a 6 and 10 stop reduction in light from entering the lens, respectively. This is useful for creating long exposures, with an even light reduction across the frame. The 100x150mm GND8 (0.9) Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter features a 0.9 density, for a 3 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. The soft graduated filter is designed with a soft transition from being transparent on one end to being light-stopping on the other, making it a good choice for preventing over exposure of skies.
Made from high quality optical glass, NiSi filters preserve every bit of detail and will not affect the colour of your image. They also features NiSi’s unique nano coating technology which reduces reflection on the surface of the filter to help with ghosting and flare. In addition, a protective layer makes it easy to wipe off water, dust, and oil from the filter without worrying about scratching your glass.
The NiSi Protection Lens Cap for V5 attaches to the NiSi 82mm adapter ring to protect the front of your lens and V5 CPL including the Enhanced Landscape CPL. By protecting the CPL and 82mm adapter ring you'll be able to leave them mounted to your camera while moving about on location. The lens cap also allows you to leave the 82mm adaptor ring attached to the lens when you pack it away in your bag.
The NiSi 100mm System All In One Case is a high quality PU leather case that can carry and store the 100mm V5/V5 Pro Holder, CPL, 3 adapter rings and 8 filters (100x100mm or 100x150mm). Attach it to your belt or wear it over your shoulder using the included adjustable shoulder strap.
The NiSi Professional Lens Cleaning Blower is a handy cleaning accessory to keep in your gear bag.
