100mm Filter Holder + 86mm PRO CPL Filter Kit
For use with Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lens
This 100mm Filter Holder with 86mm PRO CPL from NiSi is specially designed for use with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 lens. Made from black powder coated aviation-grade aluminium processed by CNC machine, it is compatible with 100x100mm or 100x150mm filters from NiSi and other brands including Lee and Cokin. It supports up to two 100mm filters with a CPL filter in any combination, and a clip design with left to right pressed clips makes it easy to insert and remove filters.
This kit comes complete with an ultra slim 86mm PRO CPL. The matte black frosted finish on the surface minimises reflection and a unique rotation wheel design allows the CPL filter to be rotated via a cog on the back of the filter, meaning you no longer have to set up the CPL filter before inserting additional filters.
The included PRO CPL Filter is primarily designed to eliminate polarised light, producing increased colour saturation. This is particularly noticeable when photographing outdoor scenes, where a CPL filter will work to combat atmospheric fog to deepen the blue of the sky, highlight white clouds, and eliminate reflected light bringing detail back in to reflective surfaces such as water or glass. Made from high quality optical glass with nano coating, it preserves every bit of detail and will not affect the colour of your image.
