The Lee SW150 Adapter for Sigma 12-24mm f/4 Art lens is an aluminium alloy adapter ring designed to allow a separately available SW150 Filter Holder to connect to a Sigma 12-24mm f/4 Art lens. This allows 150mm-wide, 2mm-thick filters to be used.
It is built with three different ring components - a front ring, a compression ring, and a locking ring. The front right slides easily over the front of the lens, and the compression and lock rings slip over the rear of the lens until they meet the front ring, where they can be attached to each other. When fitted, these form a collar that remains on the lens at all times.
Please note that due to the physical size of this lens, and the extremely wide angle of view, the SW150 filter holder will vignette at the widest angles. To avoid this it is recommend to use a minimum focal length of 15mm when using the filter holder with two filter slots and 13.5mm when using the holder with one filter slot.
