The LEE100 Long Exposure Kit from LEE Filters brings together a LEE100 Filter Holder with a LEE Filters 100 x 150mm Graduated Neutral Density (ND) FIlter and 2 x Neutral Density (ND) Filters from LEE Filters for the images which require longer exposure time.

The LEE100 Filter Holder from LEE Filters enables a multi-filters and polariser setup. The durable, lightweight LEE100 Holder from LEE Filters is a filter holder easily used by first mounting it onto a lens with a separately available LEE Filters adapter rIng for a 100mm system filter holder. Having done so, the filter holder's pull-and-release locking knob provides a secure, yet adjustable connection that allows the holder to be rotated 360°. The capacity for rotation allows position varying that enhances the use of graduated neutral density and other filters. Additionally, the locking knob features three user-selectable positions that allows the filter holder to be rotated or removed from an adapter ring, locked onto an adapter ring while it is rotated, or locked onto an adapter ring with no rotation. Included are three pairs of snap-on LEE Filters Guide Blocks plus their respective cover plates. Each pair of guide blocks creates one, two, or three slots for 100mm-wide, 2mm-thick filters when installed.

LEE Filters are compatible with both film and digital photography. All LEE ND filters are meticulously hand-dyed and each one is a product of up to an hour of skilled work, continously monitored as they are dipped in and out of dye baths for the desired result. With a smooth transition from light stopping at one end of the filter, to clear at the other, medium grad ND filters balance the exposure between the sky and land features. The included 100 x 150mm 0.6 Hard Grad ND Filter provides 2 stops of light reduction beneficial for balancing images with a horizontal line or hard-edged transition. The 100mm x 100mm Little Stopper, on the other hand, is a long exposure filter that reduces the amount the light entering through your lens by about 6 stops while the 100mm x 100mm Big Stopper ups the light reduction to 10 stops. Increasing exposure time aid in creating blurred or ghostlike effects of anything moving in an image.

A separately available LEE100 Polariser Filter from LEE Filters is designed to conveniently snap onto the LEE100 Holder without occupying a filter slot. Set in lightweight and durable fiberglass filter frame, this circular polariser filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering polarised light caused by reflection from a non-metallic surface, such as water and glass. Or, if you already own a 105mm Circular Polariser from LEE Filters, you can purchase a separately available LEE100 105mm Polariser Ring designed to enable you to continue using it with the LEE100 Holder.
