Multigrade IV RC Deluxe Pearl Finish from Ilford is a variable contrast 190 gsm premium quality black and white printing and enlarging paper with a resin coated base and bright white base tint. Its finish has a more textured appearance than glossy paper to help reduce surface reflections. The image colour remains cool-to-neutral in this paper whether viewed in daylight or fluorescent light.
As a variable contrast paper, it responds to seven full grades of contrast during printing, when using multigrade filters, and it is suitable for printing both conventional black and white negatives as well as chromogenic black and white negative films. It is designed for use with all enlargers and can be processed using standard black and white chemistry in either trays or using machine processors.
