The Leica Minilux Zoom is a film compact camera with an integrated high-speed Vario-Elmar 35-70mm f/3.5-6.5 zoom lens. This durable titanium point-and-shoot camera features a simple design with automatic controls, from autofocus to automatic rewinding, that renders it easy and straightforward to operate to shoot high-quality images. Manual settings, on the other hand, offers option for realising individual compositions. The Minilux Zoom features center-weighted metering, a built-in flash with multiple flash modes and 1.8m flash range, and a shutter blade diaphram. A green LED light notifies users of show shutter speed; in addition, it will blink rapidly if the camera gets too close to a focus point. The optical design of the wide-angle to standard lens features seven elements in six groups; its multicoatings, along with a flat UV filter attached in the front of the lens, protect and improve clarity and contrast of images.
