The Contax S2
Introduced to commerate the 60th anniversary of Contax cameras, the fully mechanical, manual focus, manually-operated Contax S2 is a 35mm SLR camera. It requires batteries only to power the light meter that is designed as a spot meter. A simple, no-fuss camera with a mechanical shutter, the S2 features shutter speeds up to 1/4000 second and 1/250 second flash synchronisation. The camera body is solidly built with titanium covers on the top and bottom. The S2 sports a Contax/Yashica (C/Y) mount, which accepts Carl Zeiss T* lenses.
Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 28mm f/2.8 C/Y
The Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 28mm f/2.8 C/Y from Contax is a prime lens featuring a wide-angle focal length of 28mm. Designed for full frame cameras with a C/Y- mount, this lens sports a 7-elements-in-7-groups optical design and T* multi-coating for controlling flare and ghosting when working in harsh lighting. Additionally, its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 25cm away.
Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 50mm f/1.4 C/Y
The Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 50mm f/1.4 C/Y from Contax is a prime lens featuring a wide-angle focal length of 50mm. Designed for full frame cameras with a C/Y- mount, this lens sports a 7-elements-in-7-groups optical design and T* multi-coating for controlling flare and ghosting when working in harsh lighting. Additionally, its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 45cm away.

The Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm f/2.8 C/Y from Contax is a prime lens featuring a telephoto focal length of 135mm. Designed for full frame cameras with C/Y mounts, this lens sports a 5-elements-in-4 groups optical design and T* multi-coating for controlling flare and ghosting when working in harsh lighting. Additionally, its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 1.6m away.
TLA 360 Speedlite Flash
The TLA 360 Speedlite Flash from Contax is a power zoom auto flash with a guide number of 36 (in meters) at ISO 100. The auxiliary flash sports a guide number of 9. The TLA 360 features TTL flash metering, external flash metering, and manual flash capability, along with six different coverage angles, depending on which of the six focal lengths is selected. This power zoom flash can operate in both auto and manual flash control. The flash body features a large LCD display panel for providing, at a glance, pertinent information: effective distance range, film speed, aperture, zoom scale and flash output, the interval between flashes, and the number of flashes. Well-suited as an all round flash unit that is compatible with numerous Contax SLR models, its fill flash also renders it especially ideal for portraiture.
