The Lomography Lomo'Instant Wide Camera and Lenses is a film camera with an integrated portrait lens and comes bundled with a range of add-ons for you to creatively record instant 64 x 99 mm images on Instax Wide film. Offering auto and manual control for exposure time adjustment, the Lomo'Instant automatically determines the appropriate exposure setting for you while a bulb setting allows you to make long exposure shots. In addition, one-stop exposure compensation is available for adjusting brightness and darkness settings.
For adding your own creativity, multiple exposures can be recorded on a single sheet of film via the MX switch. A designated Splitzer is included for you to mask part of the frame when taking multiple exposure photos. The built-in 90mm lens provides a wide-angle 35mm equivalent focal length with a f/8 and a f/22 aperture settings that can be used to affect exposure and depth of field. When shooting interiors or capturing a wide perspective, the field of view can be further broadened by utilising the supplied ultra-wide attachment lens and accessory viewfinder. The three zone settings avail working with close up subjects as near as 60cm, subjects at a slightly more moderate distance range of between 1 to 2 m away, or distant subjects with the infinity setting. By using the close-up lens attachment, you would be able to capture subjects at a very intimate 9.9cm distance.
Providing more than just additional lighting, the built-in flash also works with the programmatic shutter to deliver accurate exposures. A PC sync socket allow you to use a range of other flash lighting tools that includes small handheld flashes and studio strobes. Four coloured gels allow you to add your own take on tone, mood and style to flash photos while the supplied lens cap also works as a remote shutter release that is useful for selfies and group photos. On that note, a small mirror is incorporated at the front of the camera to aid in composing selfies or other front facing portraits.
