The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a 21.1 megapixel full frame CMOS digital single-lens reflex camera, the first Canon EOS camera to have video recording capabilities. It suceeds the EOS 5D and was announced in September 2008. The 5D Mark II features a DIGIC 4 image processor for fast continuous shooting and image transfer, ISO expandable to 50-25600, 3.9 frames per second continous shooting (78 JPEG or 13 Raw in a single burst), and a large 3 inch LCD display. It is also capable of capturing full HD video at 1920 × 1080.
Constructed with a tough magnesium alloy body for durability, it uses a 1800 mAh LP-E6 battery.
