Telephoto Zoom Lens for Sony E-mount Cameras

Designed for ASP-C format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, the Sony 70-350mm f/2.8 G OSS lens is a telephoto zoom lens which provides a 105-525mm equivalent focal length range. Its long reach is well-suited for a range of photography applications, including landscape shooting, sports, and wildlife. A 1.1m minimum focus distance permits shooting nearby subjects without having to change lens. The built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) image stabiliser reduces appearance of camera shake for sharp and clear handheld shooting. Its optical design achieves sharpness and clarity throughout the zoom range via an aspherical element for reducing distortion and spherical abberrations and three extra-low dispersion elements for suppressing spherical and chromatic aberrations.

Benefitting the optics, an XD Linear Motor system delivers fast, silent and accurate autofocusing performance whilst also contributing to more natural, intuitive manual focus control. Customisable focus hold buttons on the lens barrel promote intuitive tactile control and quick access to select settings. When not in use, the zoom lock can be activated to keep the lens length fixed. The dust- and moisture-sealed lens permits working in inclement weather and rubberised control rings eases handling in cold climate. A flourine coating on the front element lends to easier cleaning and helps to resist dust, moisture, and fingerprints.

The lens comes supplied with front and rear caps, and a lens hood.
