The EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM from Canon is a wide-angle to telephoto lens designed for EF-M-mount mirrorless cameras, with a 28.8-240mm equivalent focal length and 8.3x zoom. Lightweight and versatile, it is a great choice for travel and everyday use. An STM stepping AF motor ensures fast and quiet focusing that is well suited to both still and video applications. The optical design of the lens provides even sharpness and illumination through the zoom range, while a maximum magnification of 0.31x and a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm at the 150mm focal length position benefits working with close-up subjects.
An Image Stabiliser is also featured to reduce the appearance of camera shake by up to four stops for sharper handheld shooting. When used with the EOS M5 this also enables Combination IS for improved stabilisation when recording video, and a panning feature provides more stabilised results when photographing subjects moving across the frame.
