Micro Four Thirds Wide Angle Prime Lens

The M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm f/1.4 PRO from Olympus is a versatile Micro Four Thirds wide-angle prime lens that offers a 40mm equivalent focal length. The lens pairs a sophisticated optical design with a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, making it well-suited to working in difficult lighting conditions while also providing greater control over depth of field. A nine-blade aperture compliments by producing pleasing out of focus areas when working with shallow depth of field techniques. Its pocket-sized form and high resolution renders it suitable for long days of shooting landscapes, nature, or travel photos.

The optical construction uses a 15 elements in 11 groups design that combines two aspherical elements, one Super Extra-Low Dispersion element, three extra-low dispersion elements, and two Super High Refractive Index elements to significantly reduce aberrations for notable image clarity, sharpness, and colour accuracy. A ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) Coating has been applied to individual elements to limit flare and optimise colour transmission. While a fluorine coating on the front lens repels dust, dirt, rain, and snow from the front element for easy cleaning, the lens body is finished with a weather-sealed construction to provide peace of mind when working in difficult environments. When the lens is paired with an Olympus splashproof body, the IEC Standard publication 60529 IPX1 rating applies. 

This lens also features a Movie & Still Compatible HIgh Speed Imager (MSC) autofocus system for smooth, quiet, and fast focusing performance that is suitable to both stills and video recording. A manual focus clutch permits quick switching to MF control and a printed depth of field scale is also featured on the lens barrel for pre-focusing and hyper focal focusing techniques.

A front lens cap, rear lens cap, lens hood, and lens wrap cloth are supplied with the lens.
