G95 Body + 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 II
Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Kit
The Panasonic G95 is a versatile Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera offering impressive photo and video capabilities in a portable package. Featuring a 20.3MP Live MOS sensor and Venus Engine, the G95 is set to capture sharp high-resolution stills with a wide sensitivity range of ISO 200-25600 and continuous shooting at up to 9 fps with AF-S (6 fps with AF-C). UHD 4K video can also be recorded at 30p with an 8-bit colour depth and 4:2:0 sampling when recording internally. Alternatively, 4:2:2 8-bit output is possible when recording externally via micro-HDMI. Slow motion video is available with support for 120, 90, and 60 fps in Full HD resolution. Pre-installed V-Log L provides a wider dynamic range of up to 12 stops for improved colour grading control during post production, and 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks allow for improved audio recording.
Autofocus is fast and accurate thanks to DFD (Depth-From-Defocus) technology. This contrast-detection type focus method benefits both still and video recording modes, as well as subject tracking applications where subject colour, size, and motion vectors are used to intelligently lock-onto the moving subjects and ensure precise focus. Alternatively, when manually focusing, focus peaking is available, with Touch MF Assist for touch to focus operation. MF Assist can also be used to increase magnification by up to 20x when needed. The camera also features a Dual I.S.2 system that uses both the G95's 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation technology and lens-based image stabilisation to compensate for up to five stops of camera shake. Note that this requires the use of compatible Lumix lenses featuring O.I.S.
All this is housed inside a compact and durable body that is weather-sealed for peace of mind when working in changeable weather conditions. You'll be able to compose your images using the 0.74x-magnification OLED viewfinder with 2.36m-dot resolution, or the rear 3.0" 1.24m-dot LCD with a free-angle design to benefit working from high, low, and front-facing angles. The LCD is also a touchscreen for intuitive operation. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable wireless remote camera control and image transferring to a mobile device.
Here, the G95 is kitted with the Lumix G Vario 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 II ASPH. POWER O.I.S. from Panasonic, a versatile all-in-one zoom lens designed for use with Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras where it will provide a 28-280mm equivalent focal length range. The lens features three aspherical elements and a pair of extra-low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions for greater image sharpness and clarity. Multi-coatings have also been applied to individual lens elements to minimise lens flare and ghosting, and a rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces smooth out-of-focus areas when working with shallow depth of field techniques.
A stepping motor ensures autofocus is fast and quiet, benefitting both stills and video recording. This is complimented by an internal focusing design that maintains the overall lens length during operation. The AF system is also compatible with Lumix cameras' high-speed contrast-detection systems for focusing speeds up to 240 fps. Additionally, the POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) works to compensate for camera shake, allowing for sharper handheld shooting. All this is housed inside a splash and dust-resistant body.
