The OM-D E-M10 mkIII from Olympus is a compact, lightweight mirrorless Micro Four Thirds digital camera with advanced still image capture and movie recording capabilities. It features a high-resolution 16.1MP 4/3 Live MOS sensor with an improved Dual Quad-Core TruePic VIII Image Processor for a combination of speed and quality. You'll be able to capture both photos and UHD 4K video with a top sensitivity of ISO 25600. It also includes an electronic shutter function for faster shutter speeds and completely silent operation and can record uncompressed 12-bit raw image files.

When creating high-resolution UHD 4K video you can enjoy a high bit rate of 102 Mbps for crisp, detailed imagery and there are options for both NTSC and PAL frame rates. Full HD and HD recording also feature increased speed with options in Full HD for up to 60p and high-speed HD 720p at up to 120 fps. In addition to video recording, a Time-lapse Movie mode is also available for recording up to 4K UHD resolution with a 5 fps shooting rate to capture movement over a longer period of time.

In-camera 5-axis image stabilisation compensates for up to 4 stops of camera shake making it easier to work in low lighting conditions and an upgraded contrast-detect AF system uses 121 points for quick, accurate performance with dedicated subject tracking modes. This is particularly useful when taking advantage of the camera's 8.6 fps continuous shooting capabilities.

The camera retains the retro-themed body of its predecessor with its intuitive and rugged construction, and features a 3.0" tilting touchscreen LCD and a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder. The body features two dials, a directional pad, and shortcut button for streamlined control. Various other functions have also been implemented to make shooting more fun, such as 15 Art Filters and a Clips Video Mode that lets you quickly make videos in camera and includes the ability to use audio transferred to your SD card. There is also built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to pair the camera with your smartphone or tablet for wireless sharing and remote camera control, and this time the camera includes a QR Code function for even faster setup.

The OM-D E-M10 mkIII is kitted here with the black Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ, a mid-range zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras that offers a 35mm format equivalent focal length of 28-84mm. This zoom range is perfect for everyday photography and provides a moderate wide-angle to short telephoto perspective. The lens construction consists of three aspherical elements help to reduce optical aberrations and distortion, extra-low dispersion element which minimises chromatic aberrations and a super high refractive index element to increase image sharpness.
