X-T30 Body (Black) + XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens
Mirrorless Digital Camera Kit
The X-T30 from Fujifilm is a mirrorless digital camera featuring an APS-C-format 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and an updated X-Processor 4 to capture high-resolution still images and 4K video. The sensor offers a native ISO 160 setting for working in low-light conditions, and omits an optical low-pass filter for impressive image quality and sharpness, with reduced moiré and aliasing. Meanwhile, the processor ensures faster image processing and overall performance speed.
A phase-detection autofocus system offers 425 selectable points that cover almost the entire sensor area for fast and accurate focusing, along with low-light sensitivity down to EV -3. This is complimented by a faster focus response time for subject tracking and Face- and Eye-Detection AF when working in AF-C mode and when recording video.
You'll be able to capture up to 8 fps with a mechanical shutter or 30 fps with an electronic shutter and a 1.25x crop, and internal UHD 4K30 video recording with F-Log is also supported for use in advanced colour grading software during editing. Record DCI 4K30 and Full HD 1080p120 and save files using either MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 compressions, and 4K.
All this is housed inside a classic body, with physical controls including a shutter speed dial, mode dial, exposure compensation dial, and a command dial. A high-resolution 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder offers a 0.62x magnification with a fast refresh rate, wide viewing angle, and adjustable diopter settings, and a rear 3.0" 1.04m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD is also added for live view shooting and reviewing your images, as well as adjusting your settings. The X-T30 also features built-in Bluetooth for wireless sharing and remote control.
Here the X-T30 is kitted with the XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro from Fujifilm, a 120mm equivalent telephoto prime for Fujfiilm X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, designed for close-up shooting. This long focal length is combined with a maximum aperture of f/2.8, a 25cm minimum focusing distance, and 1:1 life-size magnification for macro shooting. A Floating Focus System benefits close-up work by using two distinct focusing groups in order to provide faster performance and maintain image quality throughout the focus range, and a linear motor ensures quick, quiet and smooth autofocus performance that is particularly useful when working with fast-moving subjects or recording video. Additionally, a five stop-effective optical image stabilisation system minimises the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting in low-light conditions and with slower shutter speeds.
Optically the lens features one aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion, and one Super ED element alongside three extra-low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing for sharp, clear imagery. The lens is finished with a weather-sealed construction and features a fluorine coating on the front element to guard against moisture, smudging, and dust. This design also permits working in temperatures as low as -10°C. Lastly, a focus range limiter switch allows you to constrain the focus range to between 9.8" (25 cm) to 1.6', 1.6' to infinity, or the whole 25 cm to infinity range for more responsive focusing depending on the distance to your subject. The XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro is also compatible with the optional XF 1.4x TC WR and XF 2x TC WR teleconverters for extending the effective focal length to an equivalent 171mm and 244mm, respectively.
