In this kit, the Fujifilm X-S10 is paired with the XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR prime lens.

The compact and versatile Fujifilm X-S10 boasts capable photo and video features in a portable form ideal for creating your everyday content. Characterised by its APS-C sized 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with back-illuminated design and the X-Processor 4, the X-S10 affords reduced noise and greater overall clarity as well as fast performance and improved responsiveness. This mirrorless camera supports high-resolution stills shooting, DCI/UHD 4K video at 30 fps, sensitivity from ISO 160-12800, and continuous shooting up to 8 fps with mechanical shutter. Its expanded phase-detection autofocus system is a hybrid system that combines 425 phase-detection points that cover nearly the entire sensor area with a contrast detection system for fast and accurate AF performance. Face/Eye detection and subject tracking are available thanks to its high autofocus speed, enabling the X-S10 to deliver crystal clear protraits as well as efficiently and intelligently track and maintain focus on your moving subject. Additionally, a built-in 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation system reduce the appearance of camera shake for up to 6 stops, which benefits both stills and video applications when shooting handheld.

Physically, the X-S10 receives an updated layout to support seamless handling and improve shooting efficiency. This includes a modification in the conventional shutter speed dial which now functions a mode dial for more general use. A large righthand grip enables solid and stable handling for comfortable regular use. Other than that, the X-S10 features a bright OLED electronic viewfinder design with 2.36m-dot resolution and a 0.62x magnification. This finder has a high refresh rate of 100 fps for fluid viewing and tracking. A rear 3.0" 1.04m-dot LCD touchscreen monitor can also be used for clearer live view shooting and image playback. Its vari-angle, articulating design is advantageous for working from high and low shooting angles as well as enables selfies and vlogging. Conversely, the screen can be flipped against the camera body when you need it hidden from view. The X-S10 offers 18 Film Simulation modes to support your creativity. Additionally, the X-S10 sports built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless sharing and remote control.

The accompanying XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR from Fujifilm offers a 27mm equivalent wide-angle perspective in a compact and portable design that is suited for travel, landscape photography, architectural photography, shooting documentary and even astrophotography. Featuring a fast maximum aperture of f/1.4 that balances size and speed, it is well-suited to working in low light conditions, offers a greater control when using shallow depth of field techniques, and, along with a rounded nine-blade diaphragm, provides a soft bokeh effect at wider apertures.

Optically the lens uses three aspherical elements and one ED element to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations, and a Super EBC coating works to limit flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour fidelity when working in bright backlit conditions. The optical design complemented by a linear autofocus motor, along with an internal focusing design, that ensures focusing is fast, responsive and quiet, making it well-suited to capturing both stills and video. In additional, the autofocus motor enables a minimum focus distance of 20cm in as little as 0.04 seconds to is ideal for capturing close-up subjects. For increased focusing control, smooth manual focus control is available.  The lens is finished with a weather-sealed design to guard against dust and moisture, for peace of mind when working in difficult conditions and freezing conditions as low as -10°C.

This versatile wide-angle lens comes supplied with a front lens cap and a rear lens cap.
