The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is a lightweight and compact interchangeable lens Micro Four Thirds camera characterised by speed and precision. The pairing of a 20.4MP MOS sensor and a TruePic VIII image processor enables quick full-resolution continous shooting of up to 10fps for a maximum of 150 consecutive raw files via a mechanical shutter, up to 30fps single-shoot autofocus shooting for up to 23 consecutive raw files via a silent electronic shutter, as well as DCI and UHD 4K video recording; In addition, the sensor and processor pair also affords a sensitvity range from ISO 200-25600 for working in a variety of lighting conditions. For sharper handheld shooting, the E0M5 Mark III incorporates a sophisticated 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation system that compensates for shake up to 5.5 stops with any lens and up to 6.5 stops when used with select lenses featuring optical image stabilisation. The sensor design complements the imaging specs with 121 cross-type phase-detection points and 121 contrast-detection areas that provides for fast and precise auto focusing in mixed lighting conditions and promotes subject tracking performance. The high performance autofocus system on E-M5 Mark II includes face and eye detection for precise focusing as well as offers six AF Target options for matching subject size and movements.

This versatile camera also boasts many Olympus interchangeable lens camera shooting settings, including Live Composite, Live Bulb, and Live Time for easy and creative long exposures. The Pro Capture function enables you to capture that split-second photo opportunity by beginning to record 20M images when the shutter button is pressed halfway, retaining up to 14 frames of the most recent images when the shutter button has been fully pressed. Focus stacking and focus bracketing modes are available with select M.Zuiko lens. Using the High Resolution Shot mode that composites eight sequentially recorded frames, a 50MP JPEG image or 80MP raw image featuring greater resolution and colour detail can be achieved.

The E-M5 Mark III houses all its imaging attributes in a sleek design that is also extensively weather-sealed--splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof--for operation in inclement weather and trying environments. A combination of Supersonic Wave Filter and a dust-resistant coating protects the sensor from dust contamination. A high resolution 2.36m-dot 0.67x-magnification OLED viewfinder enables clear, distortion-free eye-level monitoring, and a rear 3.0" 1.04-dot LCD touchscreen monitor, which provides for intuitive menu navigation and image playback, features a vari-angle design to support working from high, low, and front facring angles. Wireless transferring and remote camera control from linked devices are supported via the built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

A flash, a micro-USB cable, a lithium-ion battery with a compatible charger, as well a shoulder strap, are supplied.
