The Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM lens is a sim wide-angle prime designed for APS-C-size EOS DSLRs. An STM stepping motor is incorporated to provide quick, smooth and quiet autofocusing, which pairs well with EOS cameras featuring the Movie Servo AF mode to enable continuous focusing performance in live view. One aspherical element is incorporated to help minimize chromatic aberrations, optimized lens coatings have also been applied to reduce lens flare and ghosting.
