Designed for use with the FE 28mm f/2 lens, this ultra-wide converter from Sony lets you broaden the focal length of the 28mm lens to a wide 21mm with a 92º angle of view, or 31.5mm with a 68° angle of view when used with an APS-C E-mount camera.

The optical design of the converter lens is comprised of 4 elements in 4 groups and when used with the 28mm lens, it provides a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a minimum manual focus distance of 20 cm, or 24 cm with auto focus. EXIF data is transmitted through the host lens to the camera.

Compact and lightweight, it features a built-in petal-type lens hood to shield the lens from unwanted light.
