The Sage 45L Travel Backpack from Peak Design is a versatile pack designed with the needs of travels in mind. Expansion zippers along its spacious main compartment allow the bag to increase from 30L to 45L in volume, while inside, a zippered partition system forms an optional front and rear divider. Separately available Peak Design compartments can be added to transport your camera equipment, accessories, clothing, and toiletries, making this a customisable solution that can be altered to suit your needs. There is also a sleeve within the main compartment that offers a dedicated pocket for a 10" tablet and up to 15" laptop.

A front-facing pocket is ideal for stowing items that need to be accessed quickly and conveniently, while hidden side pockets can be used to safely hold a passport, phone, or other small valuables. There are also two large, open pockets on the side of the pack that can each hold a water bottle, tripod, monopod, or trekking pole, any one of which can be secured using a locking strap above each pocket. A zippered back panel provides access to your gear, while the front panel unzips to offer access to four zippered mesh pockets that can be used to store and organise small items. The main compartment can also be reached even while carrying the Travel Backpack, through zippered side openings which are positioned to face the wearer when the bag is rotated from one's back to front with either side facing upward.

The bag can be carried using the built-in handles along its top, sides, or by its adjustable shoulder straps. It also features a sternum strap for better weight distribution, and a waist belt to transfer weight to the hips. During storage or transport, the straps and waist belt can be tucked behind the rear panel, which also features a built-in handle that can be used as a pass-through, allowing this bag to be mounted onto a rolling case's dual-column telescoping handle for added convenience. Featuring durable, nylon construction, the Travel Backpack is built to be weather resistant and is compatible with a separately available rain cover for further protection from the elements.
