The Universal Tank from Paterson is an easy to use development tank for film processing. Made from durable polystyrene, it is able to hold two 35mm film rolls or a single roll of 120/220 film. It is supplied with two reels that can be used for 35mm, 126, 127, 120, or 220 rolls. It offers a choice of agitation methods including inversion agitation, rotary agitation with an included removable agitator rod, or a combination of both.

The tank also comes with a light trapping funnel that locks into place to keep the reels secure, and makes for easy filling and emptying of the tank. As an extra safety feature, the lid cannot be locked if the funnel has not been snapped in correctly.
