Arca-Type Auto-Locking Quick Release Adapter

The Q=Base Quick Release Version II from Novoflex is a clever Arca-type auto-locking quick release adapter. Attaching the camera or lens to this clamp results in a positive snap, eliminating the risk associated with tightening the normal Arca-type vice. The Q=Base II allows a one-click automatic and secure fixation of the inserted plate, and the final clamping is done manually with a single handle on the locking ring. In addition, a safety pin prevents slipping.

This Version II has been with an emphasis on easy handling with a more compact and lightweight design. Compared to the original Q=Base, the Version II weighs just 120g compared to the 265g of the previous model. This is particularly useful for owners of compact system cameras.

The Q=Base is compatible with all Arca-type quick release plates, available separately. Please note that while it is possible to use the Arca-compatible coupling plates of many other manufacturers, the safety pin function is only available in conjunction with original Novoflex Q=plates.
