This Single Upgrade Kit makes a great addition to any body and lens kit that includes the Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6mm IS STM lens. It includes all the accessories you need to get started; a 58mm UV filter, 8GB SanDisk SD card, lens cleaning kit, and small bag.
The 58mm UV filter will screw on to the front of your 18-55mm lens. UV filters are primarily designed to eliminate ultraviolet light, avoiding a degradation of image contrast. This is particularly noticeable when photographing outdoor scenes, where a UV filter will work to combat the faded blue or white effect that ultravoilet light can cause. All filters will also offer a degree of protection for the front element of your lens against moisture, dust and scratching.
The 8GB SanDisk SD card will allow you to record your files, RAW or JPEG on to the card. The card is 30mbs, fast enough to record your images without lagging.
The 4-in-1 Cleaning Kit from Phottix includes a lens pen, cleaning cloth, and orange dust blower. The lens pen removes dust and erases smudges without leaving residue.
